Description

Natural Transitions pitch for investor for incubator bakery for $100,000 for installment costs of 2500 sq ft closed partition bakery with sit-down oak tables, accessible rest rooms, show room, refrigerator, freezer space, work break area. Plan to teach commercial baking skills and certify new bakers. The bakers will then rent on an hourly basis from the bakery so they do not have to provide overhead. Cater to high-end market, also plan to teach continuing education to vocational education teachers and plan to help with community development and give presentations of best practice (what works best). Currently have a 2-week summer program involving bus navigation, bio-intensive organic gardening in a community garden, commercial bakery skills, and an opportunity to earn certificates and develop a portfolio to be presented on the final day at an Open House open to the public.
